Beads and Beyond magazine are looking for professional designers to become new exclusive contributors to Beads and Beyond.

You will need to be able to create step by step projects with designer flair that will inspire both professional designer jewellers and the home hobbyist alike.

We are looking for original designs of wearable, modern, fresh, sophisticated, chic, fun or funky jewellery and beaded projects that are fashion forward, hand created and unique. You will also need to be able to write clearly about your creations and take good quality, well lit step by step photos. We are looking for interesting and advanced techniques rather than basic projects.

If you think your style will fit the bill please e-mail michelle.powell@traplet.com including some low-res jpegs of your creations and a few words about the kind of jewellery you like to make and the techniques that you feel you could write comprehensively about.

To submit a step-by-step project we will require:

1 The finished project items to be sent to us for professional photography.

2 Good quality step-by-step photos, taken as you make the item.

3 Written text comprising of; an introduction, step-by-step text, supplies list, tips, useful information and suppliers details.

4 A photo of yourself and a few words about you.

We are also looking for knowledgeable designers to write comprehensive masterclass type features on a specific technique. If you are an expert on an area of beading or jewellery making please do get in touch.
